The Circular Economy Solutions Dialogues (CESD) on Organic Waste explored the concept of "Organic Matter: Waste or Resource?", thus looking at organic waste prevention, discussing viable policy and technology pathways and promting solutions and practices that value organic resources.

The CESD were designed as a four-month multi-stakeholder/multi-country dialogue stream comprising of four virtual meetings that employed a mix of discussion methodologies, leadership impulses, and e-collaboration to identify, draw out, and co-create ideas via GIZ's GreenTechKnowledgeHub.

Participants included policy makers, businesses, civil society, academia, think tanks and international organisations. The dialogues took place on 24 April, 22 May, 19 June and 25 September 2024. Each CESD consisted of 35 invited participants with backgrounds from 20 different countries. To complete the dialogue series, a public presentation was offered on 16 October 2024.
