DKI Jakarta City’ Reusable Packaging Baseline Research Study on Food Delivery

GIZ implements project “The Collaboration Action for Single Use Plastic Prevention in the Southeast Asia (CAP SEA)” on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV). In Indonesia, CAP SEA supports pilot project of business model implementation that aims at reducing single use plastic (SUP) packaging by providing alternative reusable packaging for food (beverage) delivery of ready-to-eat food with one local municipality, namely DKI Jakarta. 

This report is to present the findings from the conducted survey on the baseline practice on food delivery, to receive positive perception of the pilot project from the customers and demand for a continuation of the pilot project as well as expansion to other kitchens/similar business models.
